Trust Education Limited is seeking a caring Teaching Assistant to support a KS2 pupil with SEND on a 1:1 basis. The role starts 2 November, is full-time and ongoing, with potential to widen to general classroom support as needs evolve.

You will work alongside the class teacher to break tasks into manageable steps, encourage independence and help create a safe, inclusive learning environment where every child can gain confidence and engagement each day.

Competenze

• Patient, approachable and genuinely passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
• Experience in SEND, 1:1 support or helping pupils access education would be beneficial.
• Flexible, calm under pressure and able to adapt to changing needs in a school setting.

Mansioni

• Provide tailored 1:1 SEND support to a KS2 pupil to access learning and participate in class activities.
• Break tasks into manageable steps and encourage independence.
• Support pupils across the classroom as the role evolves with school needs.
• Work closely with the class teacher and school team to maintain a calm, positive learning environment.
