Job summary

SANZA Teaching Agency in Barnet is seeking enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming primary school from November for 1:1 pupil support. You will work across KS2, helping pupils with additional needs including autism and ADHD, supporting learning, engagement and social development while collaborating with teachers and the SEN team to enable full participation in school life.

Previous experience with PECS and Makaton is welcome, and the role offers a chance to make a real

Qualifications

Have previous experience working with children with additional needs.
Ideally have experience supporting pupils with SEN in a school or similar setting.
Be patient, nurturing and understanding.
Be proactive, adaptable and confident.
Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Be passionate about helping children reach their full potential.

Responsibilities

Provide dedicated 1:1 support to pupils with additional needs, including Autism, ADHD.
Work across KS2.
Support pupils with their learning, engagement and social development.
Help children access the curriculum and participate positively in school life.
Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils.
Work closely with teachers and the wider SEN team to support individual needs.
