Job summary

Aspire People are seeking a caring KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant to work across Oldbury schools. You will support pupils with SEN on a 1:1 and small-group basis, help them access the KS2 curriculum, and assist with behaviour and engagement under teacher guidance.

Experience with children is desirable, SEN exposure is beneficial, and strong communication alongside flexibility and willingness to travel between local schools are important.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children is desirable.
• SEN experience is highly beneficial.
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to travel to schools across the local area.
• Excellent flexibility and availability.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils with SEN on a 1:1 and small-group basis.
• Helping children access the KS2 curriculum.
