Job summary

Aspire People is looking for a passionate individual to support children with special needs in a dedicated Key Stage 1 SEN room in Stafford. This full-time position involves providing tailored 1:1 and group support to help children thrive academically and emotionally.

The ideal candidate should have experience with SEN children, excellent communication skills, and a Level 2 or 3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning. You will enjoy working in a supportive environment that prioritizes inclusion and professional development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with SEN children, preferably in a primary school setting.
• A calm, patient, and empathetic nature with the ability to build trust and rapport with children.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with special educational needs.
• Work with teachers to create tailored learning plans.
• Support students in developing independence and self-regulation skills.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture.
