Job summary

Hearsall Community Academy in Coventry is seeking two enthusiastic Behaviour Mentors to support students with SEMH needs. Working under the Pastoral Lead and SENDCO, you will promote positive behaviour, inclusion and engagement across the school.

You will help pupils develop positive behaviours, work with families, and contribute to safeguarding training and a safe environment in line with KCSIE and local policies.

Qualifications

• Has excellent teaching ability KS2.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs is desirable.
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs to promote positive behaviour and engagement.
• Work under guidance of the Pastoral Lead, SLT and SENDCO to improve outcomes.
• Collaborate with families to promote attendance, engagement and progress.
• Help maintain a safe environment and participate in safeguarding training.
