Job summary

North Leamington School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to support students through KS2 into KS3 transition, delivering literacy and numeracy interventions and supporting emotional development.

The role involves working with the IEN Faculty, pastoral teams, families and partner primary schools to ensure curriculum continuity, high standards and a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
• Knowledge or training in SEND.
• Experience delivering literacy and numeracy interventions KS2/KS3.

Responsibilities

• Develop literacy and numeracy interventions within KS2/KS3.
• Support caseload students in the classroom to build confidence.
• Work with internal/external agencies and families to support pupils.
• Collaborate with Pastoral, IEN and wider teams to support transitions.
• Promote positive student behaviour and maintain high standards.
