Job summary

PK Education is recruiting a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join our supply team at a local Sheffield primary school. This fixed-term role will commence ASAP and involve supporting a KS2 class and delivering targeted literacy and maths interventions.

You will work with a class of around 31 children, provide general classroom support, and collaborate with the teaching staff to raise attainment. A Level 2 childcare qualification and KS2 experience are essential, with DBS check required.

Qualifications

• Level 2 childcare qualification is required.
• Experience as KS2 Teaching Assistant.
• Experience with small nurture groups to boost attainment.
• Desire to be part of a committed school team.
• Experience supporting KS2 in primary education.
• Experience delivering Literacy and Maths intervention groups (desirable).
