Engage Education working with a large three-form entry primary in Manchester is seeking a Year 4 Teaching Assistant to support KS2 learners. You will provide targeted literacy and numeracy support, assist with lesson delivery, and implement structured interventions to help pupils meet year-group targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in a UK primary school setting with KS2 is ideal.
• Strong literacy and numeracy to support Year 4 goals.
• Proactive, adaptable mindset and effective communication.
• Experience running targeted interventions or SEND support is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted 1-to-1 and small-group literacy and numeracy support.
• Deliver structured intervention programmes to keep pupils on track.
• Assist lesson delivery, resources preparation, and classroom management.
• Support children with additional learning needs or SEND where required.
• Encourage positive behaviour, emotional resilience and engagement.
• Collaborate with Year 4 teachers and fellow staff across three classes.
