We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Key Stage 1 (KS1) Year 1 Teacher for a full-time, long-term position spanning the full academic year. This is a vital foundational year where you can spark a lifelong love of learning.
Full Class Teaching: Take complete ownership of a Year 1 class, delivering vibrant, engaging, and imaginative lessons.
Core Curriculum Focus: Deliver structured, high-standard teaching focusing heavily on phonics, literacy, and numeracy, building secure blocks for future academic success.
Assessment & Marking: Undertake full assessment, tracking, and marking duties in line with school policies.
Inclusive Practice: Foster a nurturing, positive environment that responds to individual needs and champions a deeply rooted culture of inclusion.
Hold UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) with proven, demonstrable experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (Year 1 or Reception transition).
Strong, specialist knowledge of systematic synthetic phonics programmes and early years/KS1 frame
