Job summary

Redhill Primary School in Cannock is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will deliver Read Write Inc.

phonics in small groups and one-to-one settings, support KS1 learners, and work with class teachers to raise attainment in reading, writing and early numeracy. You will track pupil progress, adapt support strategies and foster an inclusive, nurturing learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Read Write Inc. phonics.
• Experience supporting KS1 children, including those with learning needs.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive, patient and passionate about making a difference.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Read Write Inc. phonics sessions in small groups and one-to-one settings.
• Provide tailored support to KS1 children to raise attainment in reading, writing and early numeracy.
• Work collaboratively with class teachers to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
• Assist in tracking pupil progress and adapting support strategies accordingly.
• Foster a positive, nurturing atmosphere that promotes resilience and love of learning.
