Job summary

Academics is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming KS1 team in Warrington. The role supports pupils academically and pastorally, working alongside an experienced class teacher to foster inclusion and help each child realise their potential.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience working with primary-aged children.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Understanding of safeguarding and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Support learning across the KS1 curriculum.
• Work with individuals and small groups.
• Reinforce phonics, reading, writing and maths.
• Prepare classroom resources.
• Support children who require additional encouragement.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
