Job summary

Milk Education is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the L33 area of Liverpool on a long-term, full-time basis.

You will provide general classroom support across KS1, helping children develop their learning, confidence, and social skills within a supportive team. The role offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Recent and relevant experience working in an educational setting.
• A passion for supporting KS1 pupils.

Responsibilities

• Provide general classroom support to the class teacher and KS1 pupils
• Support children's learning through group work, interventions, and focused 1:1 support
• Assist with the delivery of phonics, early reading, writing, and maths activities
• Encourage positive behaviour, inclusion, and emotional development
• Support pupils with their confidence, independence, and engagement
• Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
• Contribute to observation and assessment activities
• Work collaboratively with the class teacher and wider school team
• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB, or equivalent)
