Job summary

Redhill Primary School in Cannock is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. You will deliver Read Write Inc phonics in small groups and 1:1 settings, providing tailored support to KS1 pupils to raise attainment in reading, writing and early numeracy.

You will work closely with class teachers to create an inclusive learning environment, track pupil progress, and adapt strategies to meet diverse needs.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Read Write Inc phonics in small groups or 1:1 settings.
• Experience supporting KS1 pupils, including those with varying learning needs.
• Proactive, patient and committed to raising attainment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Read Write Inc phonics sessions to groups and individuals.
• Provide tailored support to KS1 pupils to raise reading, writing and early numeracy attainment.
• Collaborate with class teachers to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
• Assist in tracking pupil progress and adapting support strategies.
