Philosophy Education LTD. is seeking a dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Hounslow. The role supports pupils across KS1, including delivery of Little Wandle phonics sessions, with an ASAP start and hours 07:50-15:50, Monday to Friday.

You will work closely with the class teacher to support learning, reading and early writing, encourage confidence and positive behaviour, and help create a nurturing, engaging classroom environment throughout the school day.

Qualifications

• Experience in a primary/KS1 setting.
• Knowledge of Little Wandle phonics.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Positive and proactive approach.

Responsabilités

• Supporting pupils across KS1 with their learning and development.
• Supporting and delivering Little Wandle phonics sessions.
• Helping children develop their early reading, writing and phonics skills.
• Providing support during whole-class, group and independent activities.
• Encouraging children's confidence, independence and positive behaviour.
• Working closely with the class teacher and wider school team.
• Creating a positive, nurturing and engaging classroom environment.
