Job summary

Haberdashers' Academies Trust South is seeking an experienced KS1 Class Teacher to support teaching and pupil welfare, ensuring pupils make progress toward academic targets.

The ideal candidate will hold a nationally recognised teaching degree with QTS and will drive PSHCE and RE within the school, maintaining a positive, focused learning environment that raises attainment.

Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for an experienced KS1 Class Teacher who will support in the teaching and welfare of children to ensure our pupils make appropriate progress in KS1 through attaining their academic targets. Working under the direction of the Assistant Headteacher, the ideal candidate must:

• Have sufficient understanding of their area of expertise to support the development, learning and progress of pupils during KS1
• Must have achieved a nationally recognised teaching degree
• Understand the objectives, content and intended outcomes for learners activities in which they are involved
• Be responsible for driving PSHCE and RE within the school
• This role is for 32.5 hours per week.,

• 1. Do you have knowledge or experience of working with children with ASD/ADHD/Attachment difficulties?
• 2. Can you evidence a proven track record of raising educational standards?

• 4. Have you completed training on Provision Mapping and Assess, Plan, Do, Review Cycles?
• 5. Can you demonstrate a good understanding of classroom management techniques and the ability to maintain a positive and focused learning environment?
