TSR Legal is seeking a Knowledge Lawyer (Corporate/Commercial) at a non fee-earning level in Bristol. You will develop knowledge management, promote technical excellence and drive innovation across the department, working with the Knowledge Team and broader firm to enhance service delivery through technology and AI.

Reporting to the Head of Department, you will train and mentor colleagues, stay ahead of UK commercial contracting developments, and support tenders, client training and business

Competenze

• Qualified solicitor with strong knowledge of UK commercial contracting law.

Knowledge Lawyer – Corporate/Commercial

TSR Legal are currently supporting a well-regarded multi office law firm based in Bristol, who are looking for an experienced and commercially minded lawyer to join the Corporate and Commercial department as a Knowledge Lawyer in a non fee-earning capacity.

Reporting to the Head of Department, you will play a key role in developing legal knowledge, promoting technical excellence and driving innovation across the department. Working alongside the Knowledge Team and wider firm, you will help improve knowledge-sharing, support lawyer development and identify opportunities to enhance legal service delivery through technology and AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and improve knowledge management processes and promote best practice.
• Support technical excellence, legal training and the development of junior lawyers.
• Keep teams informed of legal developments, emerging risks and changes in practice.
• Champion the adoption of AI, self-service legal tools and innovative ways of working.
• Work with the Innovation & Legal Technology Team to improve efficiency and service delivery.
• Contribute to client training, thought leadership, tenders and business development initiatives.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to embed a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

About you

To be considered, our client is requiring a qualified solicitor with at least 4 years PQE and strong knowledge of UK commercial contracting law, ideally gained within a large UK law firm. You will have experience in coaching, mentoring or training, alongside an interest in legal technology, AI and innovation. A proactive approach, excellent communication skills and the ability to influence change and build relationships across teams are essential.
