The role involves updating teams on regulatory changes, delivering training, enhancing knowledge processes, and collaborating with the Innovation and Legal Technology teams to promote AI-enabled solutions.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years PQE.

An excellent opportunity for a mid level corporate lawyer to move into a strategic Professional Support Lawyer role which is a broad position focused on driving technical excellence, knowledge development using innovation with an emphasis on technology, legal technology and AI.

The role:

• Keeping teams up to date with key legal developments, regulatory changes and best practice.
• Developing and delivering training to support technical excellence and early-career development.
• Driving continuous improvement of knowledge management processes and ways of working.
• Working closely with the Innovation and Legal Technology teams to encourage the effective use of AI and other legal technology.
• Championing legal technology solutions
• Contributing to tenders, business development and client-facing knowledge content.

What experience is required:

• Qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years' PQE
• Experience within the corporate at a large UK law firm.
• A genuine interest in legal technology, innovation and the developing use of AI.
• Experience of delivering training, coaching or mentoring.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive change.
• A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to build strong relationships across the business.

A strong grounding in digital and technology law would be particularly advantageous, although this role would suit a commercially focused lawyer looking to apply their legal expertise in a broader strategic capacity and develop their career at the intersection of knowledge, innovation and legal technology.
