• Ability to explain complex legal issues clearly.
• Strong stakeholder management at partner level.
• Commercial, proactive and highly organized.
• Insurance or litigation experience helpful but not essential.

The Knowledge function sits at the centre of the firm's strategy, working closely with senior leadership to drive innovation, enhance client service and support lawyers across multiple jurisdictions and practice areas.

Description

As a Senior Knowledge Lawyer, you will play a key role in developing and delivering the firm's knowledge management strategy, working closely with senior knowledge leadership and stakeholders across the business.

You will help drive legal innovation, create and maintain knowledge resources, support lawyer development through training, and lead projects focused on technology adoption and improved legal service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of the firm's knowledge strategy.
• Work alongside senior leadership to deliver a global knowledge management offering.
• Draft, review and maintain precedents, templates, guidance notes and other know-how materials.
• Deliver legal training, webinars, podcasts and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Produce thought leadership, legal updates, articles, reports and client-facing content.
• Monitor legal, regulatory and market developments.
• Work directly with clients on key legal developments and knowledge solutions.
• Lead practice-specific knowledge and innovation projects.
• Drive adoption of legal technology and other innovation tools across practice groups.
• Collaborate with business development teams on content, pitches and profile-raising initiatives.

Profile

• Qualified lawyer, typically around 5+ PQE.
• Suitable for an existing Knowledge Lawyer/PSL or a fee-earner looking to move into knowledge and innovation.
• Strong interest in knowledge management, legal technology and innovation.
• Excellent drafting, communication and presentation skills.
• Able to explain complex legal issues in a practical and accessible way.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to engage at partner level.
• Commercially minded, proactive and highly organised.
• Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Insurance or litigation experience would be advantageous but is not essentials
