Slug & Lettuce - Stonegate Group is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to guide our busy kitchen alongside the Kitchen Manager. You will coach, mentor and develop the team while upholding high standards of food knowledge and service. Based in the West Kirby area, you’ll help ensure smooth operation during peak times.

You’ll lead by example, supervise the kitchen in the absence of the Kitchen Manager, help with stock, and drive improvements to keep our guests delighted with every dish.

Qualifications

• Coaching and mentoring the kitchen team.
• Strong food knowledge and skill.
• Up-to-date COSHH, Food Safety and H&S knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and collaborate with the Kitchen Manager.
• Produce high-quality dishes to specification for guests.
• Supervise kitchen team when the Kitchen Manager is absent.
• Assist with stock management, ordering and supplies.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean and hygienic at all times.
• Offer ideas to improve kitchen performance.
• Lead the team to achieve targets.
