Slug & Lettuce is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to join our busy kitchen environment. You will assist the Head Chef, help with orders and stock, and ensure food is prepared to spec while maintaining high hygiene standards. This role offers flexible working and opportunities to develop culinary skills in a vibrant pub setting.

Qualifications

• Passion for hospitality and great guest service.
• Willingness to learn new skills daily and adapt to busy shifts.
• Keen eye for detail and cleanliness in a kitchen environment.
• Ability to assist with orders, stock taking and food hygiene standards.
• Experience helping maintain kitchen equipment is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and cooking tasks as directed.
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification.
• Maintain a clean, safe and hygienic kitchen at all times.
• Oversee deliveries and ensure stock accuracy.
