Job summary

Slug & Lettuce Liverpool, part of Stonegate Group, is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to drive kitchen performance in a busy venue in the heart of Liverpool. You will coach and mentor the team, uphold high food standards, and ensure COSHH and safety compliance while supporting the Kitchen Manager.

You will oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, assist with stock, and contribute creative ideas to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience as Kitchen Team Leader or Kitchen Team Member with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong food knowledge and skill suitable for a busy kitchen.
• Up-to-date COSHH, Food Safety and H&S knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and collaborate with the Kitchen Manager.
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for guests.
• Oversee and supervise the kitchen team in the Kitchen Manager's absence.
• Assist with stock management, ordering and supplies.
