Job summary

Ye Olde Griffin Hotel in March is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to support and mentor our kitchen brigade while maintaining high standards of dishes and service. You will work closely with the Kitchen Manager to drive daily operations and guest satisfaction in a busy pub environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong food knowledge, leadership capability, and a proactive approach to improving kitchen performance while upholding safety and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading kitchen teams.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Willingness to develop personally and mentor brigade.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and collaborate with the Kitchen Manager.
• Produce high-quality dishes to specification for guests.
• Oversee and supervise the kitchen team in the Kitchen Manager's absence.
• Assist with stock management, ordering and supplies.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean and hygienic at all times.
• Offer suggestions and creative ideas to improve kitchen performance.
• Lead the team to achieve company targets.
