Job summary

Griffin is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to coach and mentor the kitchen team, ensuring high standards of food knowledge and up-to-date safety practices. You will support the Kitchen Manager, assist with stock management, and drive the brigade forward with innovative ideas.

The role emphasises developing personal skills while maintaining a clean, compliant, and efficient kitchen environment. Flexible working arrangements are available within our pub estate.

Qualifications

• Experience in coaching and mentoring kitchen staff.
• Strong knowledge of COSHH, Food Safety and H&S practices.
• Willingness to develop personally and lead the brigade forward.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and collaborate with the Kitchen Manager
• Produce high-quality dishes to specification for guests
• Oversee and supervise the kitchen team in the Kitchen Manager's absence
• Assist with stock management, ordering and supplies
• Ensure the kitchen is clean and hygienic at all times
• Offer ideas to improve kitchen performance
