Job summary

Village Hotels – Cheadle is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader and CDP to unite strategy with service on a bustling shift. You’ll own your section, support the brigade, and ensure every plate meets our exact standards for quality, temperature, and presentation.

You will drive food safety, supervise junior staff, manage stock to par levels, and protect GP while maintaining accurate paperwork for monthly stock takes. This is a hands-on, high-energy role within a busy hotel kitchen.

Qualifications

• Ownership of your section on shift.
• Experience as Chef de Partie or Kitchen Team Leader.
• Strong focus on food safety (HACCP/EHO) and brand delivery.

Responsibilities

• Run your own section flawlessly while coordinating the wider workflow.
• Ensure meals meet FRESH specifications and HACCP/EHO directives.
• Supervise and coach junior kitchen team members and Kitchen Porters.
• Manage stock to par levels and keep stock take paperwork up to date.
