Job summary

Village Hotels - Glasgow is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader and Chef de Partie to act as the engine of the shift, running your own section flawlessly while supporting the wider brigade. We prioritise quality, temperature, and presentation on every plate.

You will drive food safety and brand delivery, ensure HACCP and EHO compliance, manage portions and stock to par levels, and coach junior team members to uphold high standards in a busy service.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Chef de Partie; run your own section.
• Strong leadership in a busy kitchen environment.
• Solid knowledge of food safety, HACCP/EHO directives.
• Experience with stock management and achieving par levels.

Responsibilities

• The Kitchen Floor: run your own section flawlessly while supporting the wider brigade.
• The Standards: ensure food safety, brand delivery, and HACCP/EHO compliance.
• The Brigade: supervise and coach junior kitchen team members and porters.
• The Commercial Reality: manage stock to par levels and keep paperwork up to date for stock takes.
