Job summary

The Green Man in Kenilworth, part of Ember Inns and Mitchells & Butlers, is recruiting a Kitchen Team Leader. You’ll support the Head Chef, own the menu, train your Chefs, and drive consistent, high‑quality dishes in a busy pub environment.

You’ll manage food preparation, stock, and costing, ensure health and hygiene standards, and help the team develop through training and progression opportunities. A friendly community pub with flexible shifts and staff benefits awaits.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team.
• Experience with stock control and cost management.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Train and inspire your Chefs and Kitchen Team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Support with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.
