Job summary

Magnet’s Hitchin showroom is seeking a Kitchen Sales Designer to own the customer journey from first showroom conversation to final installation. You’ll craft tailored kitchen designs while delivering an outstanding experience that builds trust and drives sales.

In this role you will convert showroom enquiries, design kitchens that balance creativity with commercial value, and manage your pipeline with home visits and upsell opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in showroom/home improvement design or showroom sales.
• Proven track record meeting sales targets or KPIs.
• Ability to close sales and influence purchase decisions.
• Strong focus on delivering excellent customer experiences.

£26,550 base + uncapped commission (OTE circa £32,000+)

As a Kitchen Sales Designer, you’ll own the full customer journey from first showroom conversation to final installation, creating tailored kitchen designs while delivering an outstanding experience that builds trust, converts into sales and increases your earnings.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Convert showroom enquiries into high-value sales
• Design kitchens that balance creativity and commercial value
• Build strong customer relationships from start to finish
• Manage your pipeline and follow up leads
• Conduct home visits and identify upselling opportunities
• Deliver against sales targets while protecting margin

Who We’re Looking For

• Desirably experience in home improvement design/showroom sales
• Experience working to sales targets or KPIs
• Confidence in closing sales and influencing decisions
• A strong focus on delivering excellent customer experiences
• Great communication and organisation skills
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Flexibility to work weekends
