Klondyke is seeking a Part Time Kitchen Porter for our restaurant at StrikesGarden Centre. The role offers flexible hours with 16 hours per week across two days, mostly weekends. Pay ranges from £10.40 to £12.75 per hour, depending on age, with a focus on maintaining a clean, efficient kitchen.

You will assist in dishwashing, waste disposal, and general kitchen maintenance, ensuring high hygiene standards and smooth operation for front and back of house teams.

We are looking for a Part Time ##employmenttype## Kitchen Porter to join the team in our Restaurant in StrikesGarden Centre.

Our competitive rates of pay range from £10.40 to £12.75 per hour dependent on age.

The hours for this role are 16 hours per week over 2 days mostly weekends but will be midweek days as and when requiredso flexibility is a must.

The Role

As a Kitchen Porter, you will provide a critical service to both our front and back of house operation ensuring a constant supply of clean crockery, cutlery and equipment. You will be trained in the safe operation of the pot wash equipment and take responsibility for a productive and clean work area.

What you will be doing as a Kitchen Porter?

• Using equipment, process all cutlery and crockery through the dishwasher.
• Make sure waste is disposed of using appropriate recycling bins
• Take care to avoid breakages
• Ensure all crockery and dishes are cleaned properly before being used
• Carry out cleaning of equipment and working areas to the highest food hygiene standards
• Close down kitchen each day including preparation for the following day.
