William Strike Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a part-time Kitchen Porter to join our team at Strikes Garden Centre restaurant. The role involves keeping crockery and equipment clean, supporting front and back of house, and assisting with the pot wash and hygiene standards.

Hours are 16 per week over two days, mainly weekends, with some midweek days as required, offering flexibility and competitive hourly rates.

Responsabilidades

• Process all cutlery and crockery through the dishwasher.
• Dispose of waste using appropriate recycling bins.

• Close down kitchen at the end of each day and prep for the next day.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and adhere to food hygiene rules.

We are looking for a Part Time ##employmenttype## Kitchen Porter to join the team in our Restaurant in Strikes Garden Centre.

Our competitive rates of pay range from £10.40 to £12.75 per hour dependent on age.

The hours for this role are 16 hours per week over 2 days mostly weekends but will be midweek days as and when required so flexibility is a must.

The Role

As a Kitchen Porter, you will provide a critical service to both our front and back of house operation ensuring a constant supply of clean crockery, cutlery and equipment. You will be trained in the safe operation of the pot wash equipment and take responsibility for a productive and clean work area.

What you will be doing as a Kitchen Porter?

• Using equipment, process all cutlery and crockery through the dishwasher.
• Make sure waste is disposed of using appropriate recycling bins
• Take care to avoid breakages
• Ensure all crockery and dishes are cleaned properly before being used
• Carry out cleaning of equipment and working areas to the highest food hygiene standards
• Close down kitchen each day including preparation for the following day.
