Job summary

Buenos Aires Reigate is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our team. This role offers the chance to gain new skills, friendly hours, pay and benefits.

Able to follow food hygiene policies.

Responsibilities

Carry out basic cleaning tasks quickly and efficiently.
Assist with basic food preparation as required.
Wash pots and pans and keep prep areas clean.
Unload deliveries and keep storeroom tidy.
Maintain sanitised surfaces, walls and floors.
Be flexible to support other departments when busy.
Report maintenance issues to Head Chef/GM promptly.

DUTIES

Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible.
Assist with basic food preparation as required.
Collect and wash up pots and pans.
Clean food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery and cutlery.
Unload food and equipment deliveries.
Keep the storeroom organised.
Keep work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised.
To be flexible and willing to help other departments at busy times if required.
To comply with the conditions of the food hygiene policies.
To report any maintenance issues to the Head Chef/GM immediately.
