At Kingfisher Country Estate in Templepatrick we are seeking a diligent and energetic Kitchen Porter to play a pivotal role in maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and operational efficiency. As a Kitchen Porter, you will be essential in ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly, supporting our culinary team, and contributing to the exceptional dining experiences our guests expect from a Hilton property. This is more than just a cleaning role; it's an opportunity to be a valued part of a vibrant hospitality environment where your contribution directly impacts guest satisfaction and team success.

We have positions working the morning shift from 7am-3pm or afternoons/evenings from 3pm-10pm 10.30pm

About the role

• To ensure all items of crockery, cutlery & glassware are washed properly, dried and stored correctly.
• Cleaning of pots, pans & equipment, and their storage
• To carry out cleaning duties as outlined in standard procedures.
• To maintain cleanliness of refuse area and ensure kitchen bins regularly emptied.
• To be aware of hazardous substances and to ensure that relative protective clothing is worn, and directions followed.
• To adhere to any reasonable request from management or chefs
• To participate in any training and personnel exercises designed to improve standards and performance.
• Wear clean suitable uniform at all times and ensure a high level of personal hygiene & grooming.
• Observe all requirements under Health & Safety regulations.
• To upkeep the company’s equal opportunities policy to ensure a neutral working environment.
• To keep staff/work areas tidy, safe & report any hazard, accident or loss or damage to management and observe all requirements under current health & safety regulations.
