You will support the kitchen by cleaning pots and equipment and maintaining a hygienic wash-up area in line with Hilton brand expectations.

Qualifications

Must have right to work in UK.
Must have good understanding of English language.
Must have at least 6 months experience as kitchen porter.

Responsibilities

Wash, dry and store crockery, cutlery & glassware.
Clean pots, pans and equipment and store properly.
Carry out cleaning duties as per procedures.
Maintain cleanliness of refuse area and empty bins regularly.
Follow safety directions and wear protective clothing when needed.
Adhere to management/chefs requests and participate in training.
Wear clean uniform and maintain high personal hygiene.
Follow health and safety regulations.

About The Role

To ensure all items of crockery, cutlery & glassware are washed properly, dried and stored correctly.
Cleaning of pots, pans & equipment, and their storage
To carry out cleaning duties as outlined in standard procedures.
To maintain cleanliness of refuse area and ensure kitchen bins regularly emptied.
To be aware of hazardous substances and to ensure that relative protective clothing is worn, and directions followed.
To adhere to any reasonable request from management or chefs
To participate in any training and personnel exercises designed to improve standards and performance.
Wear clean suitable uniform at all times and ensure a high level of personal hygiene & grooming.
Observe all requirements under Health & Safety regulations.
