Job summary

Thomas Franks Ltd. Cambridge is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our established and friendly team at our prestigious Cambridge location. You will help keep the kitchen hygienic, safe, and up to our high standards of cleanliness, supporting the kitchen staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with pot wash duties is advantageous.
• Organised and reliable.
• Good verbal English communication.
• Able to assist chefs with food preparation.

• Support chefs with food prep where needed.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment.
• Operate industrial dishwasher.

Contract: Full Time , Permanent
Salary: 26436
Hours: 40 per week

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join our established & friendly team at our prestigious location in Cambridge.

You'll be playing a big part in keeping the kitchen hygienic, safe, and up to our very high standards of cleanliness.

• Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage
• Great team player
• Be able to help the Chefs with some food prep
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness at all times
• Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment
• Clean allocated pieces of heavy catering equipment using instructions and cleaning materials including air filter and extraction systems.
• Operate industrial dishwasher

We are looking for:

• Kitchen Porter experience is preferred, but not essential.
• Organisation Skills.
• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.
• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.
• Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred
