Job summary

Berkeley Scott is recruiting on behalf of a valued client in Peterborough for a September start as a School Kitchen Porter. You will work in a busy school kitchen, washing pots and keeping areas clean, while supporting a friendly team.

This role offers weekly pay, school-term hours, and opportunities for ongoing assignments. Candidates with Enhanced DBS, Food Safety Level 2, and Food Allergen certificates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen porter or catering experience is desirable.
• Enhanced DBS Certificate required.
• Food Safety Level 2 Certificate or willing to obtain.
• Food Allergen Certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Two professional references required.

Responsibilities

• Washing pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, and kitchen equipment.
• Keeping the kitchen clean, tidy, and organised throughout the day.
• Assisting with basic food preparation when required.
• Disposing of waste and recycling in line with site procedures.
• Following food hygiene, allergen, and health & safety regulations at all times.
