Job summary

Berkeley Scott is recruiting on behalf of a valued client in Loughborough (LE11) for a September start as a School Kitchen Porter. You will work in a busy school kitchen, washing pots and pans, keeping the area clean and tidy, and assisting with basic food preparation where needed.

Competitive pay of £12.71–£14.00 per hour, weekly pay, Monday to Friday hours, and holiday pay. DBS, Food Safety Level 2, and Food Allergen certificates (or willingness to obtain) are required.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen porter or catering experience is desirable.
• Enhanced DBS Certificate is required.
• Food Safety Level 2 Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Food Allergen Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Two professional references.

Responsibilities

• Washing pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, and kitchen equipment.
• Keeping the kitchen clean, tidy, and organised throughout the day.
• Assisting with basic food preparation when required.
• Disposing of waste and recycling in line with site procedures.
• Following food hygiene, allergen, and health & safety regulations at all times.
