Berkeley Scott is recruiting for a School Kitchen Porter in Leek (ST13) for a September start. You will work in a busy school kitchen, washing pots and keeping the area clean while adhering to food hygiene and safety standards.

Competitive hourly pay of £12.71–£14.00, weekly pay, and ongoing opportunities. Previous kitchen porter experience is desirable; Enhanced DBS, Food Safety Level 2, and Food Allergen certificates (or willingness to obtain) are required.

• Previous kitchen porter or catering experience is desirable.
• Enhanced DBS Certificate is required.
• Food Safety Level 2 Certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Food Allergen Certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Two professional references are required.

Responsibilities

• Washing pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, and kitchen equipment.
• Keeping the kitchen clean, tidy, and organised throughout the day.
• Assisting with basic food preparation when required.
• Disposing of waste and recycling in line with site procedures.
• Following food hygiene, allergen, and health & safety regulations at all times.
