As a School Kitchen Porter, your responsibilities will include:
Washing pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, and kitchen equipment.
Keeping the kitchen clean, tidy, and organised throughout the day.
Assisting with basic food preparation when required.
Receiving and storing deliveries safely and correctly.
Disposing of waste and recycling in line with site procedures.
Following food hygiene, allergen, and health & safety regulations at all times.
Supporting the kitchen team to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
Helping to maintain a safe and hygienic working environment.
To be considered for this role, you’ll need:
Previous kitchen porter or catering experience is desirable.
Enhanced DBS Certificate (required).
Food Safety Level 2 Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
Food Allergen Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
Two professional references.
A strong work ethic and positive attitude.
The ability to work well as part of a team in a fast‑paced school kitchen.
Competitive pay: £12.71 - £14.00 per hour.
September start.
Weekly pay.
