Job summary

Berkeley Scott is recruiting on behalf of a valued client in Boston (PE21) for a September start as a School Kitchen Porter. You will be part of a busy school kitchen team, washing pots, keeping areas clean, and helping with basic food preparation.

The role offers weekly pay and a pay rate of £12.71 - £14.00 per hour. Enhanced DBS, Food Safety Level 2, and Food Allergen Certificates are preferred or required, with two references and a team-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS certificate is required.
• Food Safety Level 2 certificate required or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Washing pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and kitchen equipment.
• Keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and organised throughout the day.
• Assisting with basic food preparation when required.
• Receiving and storing deliveries safely and correctly.
• Disposing of waste and recycling in line with site procedures.
• Following food hygiene, allergen and health & safety regulations at all times.
• Supporting the kitchen team to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
• Helping to maintain a safe and hygienic working environment.
