Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: 12.58
Hours: 32.5 per week

A co-educational independent day school for 4-11 year olds in Balham, London, catering for about 500 students and teachers daily. The school offers a core feeding of AM snack, Lunch, PM snack, and Hospitality & events during term time only, with excellent transport links.

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join our friendly team at our prestigious London location.

Your role will be vital in maintaining a hygienic, safe, and high-standard kitchen environment.

• Experience of pot wash duties is advantageous
• Great team player
• Assist chefs with food preparation
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness at all times
• Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment
• Use instructions and cleaning materials to clean heavy catering equipment, including air filters and extraction systems
• Operate industrial dishwasher

We are looking for:

• Kitchen Porter experience is preferred but not essential
• Strong organisational skills
• Good verbal English skills
• Good written English and reading skills
• Experience in customer service or food preparation environment is a plus
