Job description

Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: 12.75
Hours: 37.5 per week

A fabulous independent day school for boys, part of a large group of schools, located in the heart of Notting Hill, London. Catering for about 300 students and staff, offering lunch and mid-morning snacks, with some hospitality services. The position is term-time only, working 39.2 weeks a year, Monday to Friday.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join our friendly team at our prestigious London location.

Your role will involve maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in the kitchen.

• Experience with pot wash duties is advantageous
• Team player
• Assist chefs with food preparation
• Maintain cleanliness standards at all times
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment
• Handle heavy catering equipment according to instructions
• Operate industrial dishwasher

We are looking for:

• Kitchen Porter experience is preferred but not essential
• Organizational skills
• Good verbal English skills
• Basic written English and reading skills
• Experience in customer service or food prep environments is a plus
