Kitchen Porter - 3 Abbey Rd, London

Lexington is an award-winning contract caterer that focuses on providing great food and service to customers. To achieve this, we need fabulous people, and we work hard to create an environment where our team members feel engaged, inspired, valued, and enjoy what they do.

We are excited to announce the opening of a new site at the legendary Abbey Road Studios. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Kitchen Porter to lead our team at this iconic London location, which has been a destination for music makers for over 90 years, hosting some of the world’s greatest artists, producers, composers, and musicians.

This role offers the opportunity to work in Abbey Road’s restaurant and in-studio dining area, serving as a hub at the heart of the Studio’s community and creative environment.

As a Kitchen Porter, you will have significant responsibilities and opportunities to grow, becoming a vital member of our team.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure thorough knowledge of menu and special offers to provide relevant information to customers and clients
• Maintain the cleanliness, presentation, and stock levels of the kitchen area
• Support the chefs, ensuring the kitchen environment meets high standards, including ad hoc food prep duties
• Operate and report maintenance issues of relevant equipment
• Operate the till as required, following correct procedures
• Adhere to COSHH, Food Safety, and Health & Safety regulations, reporting incidents as necessary

Working Pattern:

• 5 out of 7 days, 40 hours per week
• Weekends: 12 pm - 8 pm
