Shepherd Neame’s Royal Hotel in Deal, Kent is hiring a Kitchen Porter to keep our kitchens running smoothly. You’ll wash, maintain equipment, support the kitchen team and help sustain high standards behind the scenes. No experience?

• Wash and maintain kitchen equipment, crockery and utensils to high standards.
• Keep kitchen areas clean, tidy and compliant with hygiene and safety regulations.
• Assist chefs with basic food preparation when required.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling responsibly.
• Work as part of a team to ensure smooth service during busy periods.

As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the kitchen team, ensuring everything runs efficiently behind the scenes. Where You’ll Be Working

Set in the picturesque coastal town of Deal, Kent, the Royal Hotel is the perfect destination for a seaside escape. The hotel has 18 luxurious bedrooms to choose from, several with balconies overlooking the sea. Guests can dine in the hotel’s Quarterdeck restaurant or the relaxed surroundings of the Boathouse bar which has a terrace and garden area offering glorious sea views.
