Job summary

Café Rouge is looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen team. You will help keep areas clean, support the chefs and ensure food preparation areas are well maintained.

This role supports food safety and efficiency, with duties including unloading deliveries, storing items correctly, cleaning surfaces, and keeping fridges and back-of-house areas tidy.

We offer a friendly team and on-site work, with opportunities to grow within the restaurant group.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitising all areas used for meal preparation, along with ovens, grills, sinks and stoves
• Unloading food and equipment deliveries & ensuring they are stored in the right areas
• Making sure that work surfaces, floors, and walls are clean and sanitised
• Helping the chefs with food preparation such as peeling and washing
• Keeping freezers, fridges, storage and back of house area clean and organised
