Job summary

Benugo is seeking a on-site role within the WSH/John Lewis partnership to maintain high standards of customer service and food safety. You will operate tills, assist with deliveries, and support a small team across food and beverage service, with opportunities to rotate areas as needed.

The role emphasizes training, adherence to health and safety regulations, and representing Benugo professionally in daily duties and interactions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Organise deliveries, check delivery notes and report discrepancies.
Carry out daily team briefings and answer team queries.
Work on tills, take orders and serve food and drinks per procedures.
Support training and development of team members on F&B service and labour efficiency.
Attend training sessions and represent Benugo professionally.

Job description

Ensuring the customer experience is maintained to the highest standard at all times.
To ensure food safety compliance including any allergen, temperature checks and administration is completed.
To be responsible for a specific area or food offering, with flexibility to rotate to a new area if needed.
To organise deliveries, checking delivery notes, and reporting any discrepancies.
To support the management in the delivery of weekly stock variance targets and food cost.
Ensure all dishes and menu items are produced consistently in line with the specifications.
To carry out daily team briefings and assist with any team queries.
To ensure all legislative and government guidelines are adhered to, such as Health and Safety, Food Safety and COSHH.
To work on tills, following the cash handling procedures, taking orders and serving food and drinks.
To assist with the development of the team, providing training where required, especially on the areas of the food and beverage service, supporting management in the delivery of labour effectiveness targets.
To attend all training and development course as requested.
To always represent WSH and John Lewis in a professional manner in your behaviour appearance and knowledge.
To carry out any other reasonable duties as required by management.
