Job summary

Beaumont in Jersey is seeking a showroom design assistant to help customers plan kitchens, fitted bedrooms and furniture using 3D CAD drawing and MS Office. You will meet clients in the showroom, take measurements, prepare quotes and handle orders from suppliers, coordinating delivery and installation.

Attention to detail, excellent customer service and clear communication are essential. Training will be provided to the right candidate to develop their kitchen and bedroom design skills.

Qualifications

• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Computer literacy with 3D CAD drawing and Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to meet clients in showroom and discuss requirements.

Responsibilities

• Meet clients in the showroom and discuss their requirements for kitchens, fitted bedrooms and furniture.
• Site visits to clients' premises to measure rooms.
• Design kitchens and bedrooms on 3D CAD software and provide quotes.
• Sell kitchens, bedrooms and furniture to clients.
• Order goods from suppliers, arrange delivery and installation with client, ensure payment is received.
• Ensure showroom displays are kept neat and tidy.

Job description

Prior experience of kitchen/bedroom design & knowledge of 3D CAD design software (Compusoft Winner Design) would be an advantage but not essential as training would be given to the right candidate

Opening hours: Mon to Thurs 9am to 5.30pm, Fri 9am to 4.30pm, Sat 9.30am to 1.30pm.One Saturday off per month
