Job summary

Arc Recruitment client is seeking an experienced Kitchen & Bedroom Designer to join their Halifax showroom. You will work closely with customers to translate ideas into bespoke designs and guide them through the full sales process, from consultation to completion.

With a £30,000 basic salary plus uncapped commission and potential to significantly increase earnings as you build your customer base, there is room to grow; some Saturday involvement may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen/bedroom or fitted furniture design and sales.
• Ability to convert enquiries into sales.
• Creative, commercially minded and customer-focused with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design bespoke kitchen and bedroom layouts for customers.

• Participate in Saturday showroom cover when required.

Job description

Due to continued growth, my client is looking to recruit an experienced Kitchen & Bedroom Designer to join their showroom team in Halifax. The showroom is conveniently located close to Halifax town centre, with excellent transport links and an established customer base. With the business continuing to grow, this is an exciting opportunity for a designer who is looking to develop their career within a successful and expanding company.

Working Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm, you will work closely with customers to understand their requirements, create bespoke kitchen and bedroom designs and guide them through the full sales process, from the initial consultation through to completion.

The role offers a £30,000 basic salary plus uncapped commission, providing excellent earning potential as you build your customer base and generate sales. As the showroom continues to grow, there will also be a requirement for some Saturday flexibility.

About You

You will ideally have previous experience in kitchen, bedroom or fitted furniture design and sales, with the confidence to build strong relationships with customers and convert enquiries into sales.

You’ll be creative, commercially minded and customer-focused, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to take a customer's ideas and turn them into a design they'll love.
