Job summary

Island of Jersey seeks a showroom-based bathroom designer/sales assistant in Jersey. Training will be provided for right candidate; initial focus on understanding clients' needs and translating them into quotes and layouts.

You will meet clients in the showroom, perform site visits, design bathrooms in 3D CAD (Virtual Worlds), and assist with sales of bathrooms, tiles and wall cladding. Strong customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Computer literate – 3D CAD drawing and Microsoft Office.
• Based in the showroom, meeting clients and discussing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Meet clients in the showroom and discuss their requirements.
• Provide quotes to customers after assessing their needs.
• Design bathrooms on 3D CAD software and provide quotes.
• Order goods from suppliers and arrange delivery and payment from client.
• Ensure showroom displays are kept neat and tidy.
• Site visits to clients' premises to measure rooms.
• Sell bathrooms, tiles and wall cladding to clients.

Job description

Prior experience of bathroom design/sales & knowledge of 3D CAD design software (Virtual Worlds) would be an advantage but not essential as training would be given to the right candidate

Working hours: Mon to Thurs 9am to 5.30pm, Fri 9am to 4.30pm, Sat 9.30am to 1.30pm
One Saturday off per month
