Job summary

Cosy Club is hiring a Kitchen Assistant to support our kitchen team with food preparation and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. The role offers a welcoming team, full training, and a path to progression within the kitchen.

This temporary Christmas contract is based in Birmingham, with shifts that offer meals on duty, staff discounts, and paid breaks. We value work-life balance and weekly rest days where possible.

Qualifications

• Experience in food prep or kitchen hygiene is beneficial.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures.
• Ability to work as part of a busy team.

Responsibilities

• Assist chefs with food preparation and plating.
• Keep kitchen area clean, tidy and safe throughout shifts.

If you've had experience as a Kitchen Assistant or KP before, then great! If not, we still want to hear from you as experience is not necessary. You will be supporting our team of chefs by assisting with food preparation and keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and safe.

This could be an ideal position for someone looking to start in a commercial kitchen. Full training will be provided and there is plenty of opportunity for promotion to chef.

This position is available on a temporary Christmas contract. The details of the contract will be agreed upon with the hiring manager during the interview process. Any temporary contracts can be extended to permanent on the discretion of the hiring manager.
