Job summary

Cosy Club in Birmingham is hiring a Kitchen Assistant to support the chefs with food preparation and keep the kitchen clean, tidy and safe. This role offers a temporary Christmas contract with full training and potential for promotion to chef.

You will enjoy meals on shift, paid breaks, and a fair hourly rate with tips, plus benefits like 2 days off every six weeks and 50% off food and drinks across brands from day one.

Qualifications

• Experience as Kitchen Assistant or KP preferred but not required.
• Assist with food preparation and keep the kitchen clean, tidy and safe.
• Full training provided with opportunity to become a chef.

Responsibilities

If you've had experience as a Kitchen Assistant or KP before, then great! If not, we still want to hear from you as experience is not necessary. You will be supporting our team of chefs by assisting with food preparation and keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and safe.

This could be an ideal position for someone looking to start in a commercial kitchen. Full training will be provided and there is plenty of opportunity for promotion to chef.

This position is available on a temporary Christmas contract. The details of the contract will be agreed upon with the hiring manager during the interview process. Any temporary contracts can be extended to permanent on the discretion of the hiring manager.
