Job summary

Cosy Club Cardiff is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to help the kitchen team with food preparation and maintain a clean, safe workspace. No previous experience is required, as full training will be provided and there's room for progression to chef.

You’ll enjoy a supportive team, fair rotas, and benefits such as staff meals, paid breaks, and access to Wagestream for pay flexibility.

Qualifications

• Experience as Kitchen Assistant or KP preferred, but not required.
• Support chefs with food preparation and keep the kitchen clean, tidy and safe.
• Full training provided and clear opportunity for progression to chef.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and plating.
• Keep the kitchen area clean, organized and sanitary at all times.
• Help with dishwashing, stock checks and mise en place.

If you've had experience as a Kitchen Assistant or KP before, then great! If not, we still want to hear from you as experience is not necessary. You will be supporting our team of chefs by assisting with food preparation and keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and safe.

This could be an ideal position for someone looking to start in a commercial kitchen. Full training will be provided and there is plenty of opportunity for promotion to chef.
