Job summary

Cosy Club Portsmouth is hiring a Kitchen Porter to support our team of chefs by assisting with food preparation, operating the dishwasher, and keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and safe.

This temporary Christmas contract includes meals on every shift, paid breaks, 2 days off and a weekend off every six weeks, 50% off food and drinks from day one, Christmas Day off, and the chance to progress to chef with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience as Kitchen Porter not required; application welcome from newcomers.

Responsibilities

If you've had previous experience before as a KP, great! If not, then we still want to hear from you, experience is not necessary.

You will be supporting our team of chefs by assisting with food preparation, operating the dishwasher, and keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and safe.

This could be an ideal position for someone looking to start in a commercial kitchen. Full training will be provided and there is plenty of progression opportunity for promotion to chef.

This position is available on a temporary Christmas contract. The details of the contract will be agreed upon with the hiring manager during the interview process. Any temporary contracts can be extended to permanent on the discretion of the hiring manager.
